Описание: Действия происходят в маленьком, провинциальном, затерянном в лесной глуши городке Твин Пиксе. Казалось бы все идет своим чередом люди, живущие в этом городе, каждый занят своим делом, каждый находится на своем месте им не чужды обычные человеческие радости и слабости, но это лишь внешняя видимость, каждый житель чувствует на себе влияние, влияние сил, которые приходят из леса, они не говорят об этом и давно свыклись с этим чувством, давно свыклись с присутствием кого-то еще. Но рано или поздно становится невозможным не замечать и закрывать глаза на это постоянное давление, так как ОНИ напоминают о себе и приходят для того что бы завладеть еще одной человеческой душой и тогда начинается настоящая битва, борьба на внутреннем уровне для того что бы остаться самим собой. Так семнадцатилетняя школьница Лора Палмер, первая красавица школы, пример для подражания и просто очень милая девочка - это то что видит общество, но внутри у нее бушует борьба с тем что ее преследует, Лора ведет тайный дневник и вот тут уж все ее страхи, тайные пристрастия - ее вторая часть - она знает что ее уже нет, что осталась лишь темная уродливая Лора, но что-то продолжает бороться не сдаваясь.
